We hold in-person/Zoom hybrid services every Sunday at 11am.
We’re part of a fun experiment in building sharing
Sharing is a core practice of faith. Our co-hosts, St. Clare’s Episcopal Church and Temple Beth Emeth have successfully shared a building since 1974—forging an interfaith relationship that is likely one of a kind in the nation. Together, the two congregations have formed a partnership called Genesis. Genesis is providing rental space to Blue Ocean Church Ann Arbor (you can read more about Genesis on Our Story page).
Here’s what you need to know to visit us:
when to go
Our Sunday service begins at
11am and ends about 12pm.
pre-service youth group meetings
Our Middle School and High School Youth Groups meet from 10:30 to 11am in the lower level classrooms. See our Children’s and Youth Ministry page for more details.
where to go
That’s a little more complicated, since we meet in the social hall of St. Clare’s Episcopal Church/Temple Beth Emeth. St. Clare’s has services at 9am and 10:30am on Sundays in the main sanctuary (doors far left). We meet in the social hall (doors to the right).
Look for the “Blue Ocean” signs to help guide you to our doors. And, if you accidentally end up at St. Clare’s…enjoy!
where to park
Members and visitors are encouraged to park in the parking lot behind the businesses across the street from the church campus (toward Stadium Blvd). On-street parking is also available in the nearby neighborhoods, but we ask you not to park in the St. Clare’s parking lots (on the side and in the back of the facility). We want to be good neighbors to our host congregation and not compete for parking. There is a circle drive that can be used for drop-off and pick-up.
If you require handicap parking, there are often spots available on the circle drive. You are also welcome to use any of the handicap parking spaces located on the side and back of the building.
